The news that Botswana will be admitted to the Kaza visa is good news. Tourism Update Reports that discussed Botswana and Zimbabwe during the Bi-National Commission meeting in Harare last week led to discussions about the inclusion of visas.

The visa is valid for citizens of 65 countries and costs $ 50.

The visa was created in 2014 and should be carried out as a six-month pilot project. It currently exists only between Zimbabwe and Zambia, is valid for 30 days and allows holders to take a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana.

In Phase 2, however, the visa will be extended to Angola (Namibia) – now with Botswana's willingness to merge, based on its ability to significantly improve its tourism numbers.
