Louw asks Jonas about the sequence of events in his interaction with the Hawks, as in his previous statement.
Louw says that it was recorded in the affidavit that Jonas did not open a case and "you were not a witness, so why make a statement?"
Louw: "If you're not a witness or have opened the case, that's what's recorded here."
Jonas: "That's wrong."
Louw: "So that's a lie?"
Jonas "That's wrong."
Louw: "A lie or wrong?"
Jonas: "It's completely wrong, I remember the conversation with General Ntlemeza."
Louw: "And what did you say to him?"
Jonas says the conversation was about Ntlemeza telling him there was a case and he did not explain what it was all about. Jonas says he asked what it's all about, and Ntlemeza said, "The Guptas."
Jonas: "I asked him, am I a complainant or a witness, he said that depends on what you're going to say, and then we said we're going to meet."
